Post up some photos of you "media plate" and the external "Omnibox" - usually a brown or white box affixed to your outside wall - it will have a cable coming out from it and entering your property from that.
Do any of you immediate neighbours have a VM connection/service?
Is it showing as available on the VM website - postcode/address checker ?
