Can’t create a virgin media account

Hi,

I’ve just signed up for virgin media broadband (due to be installed today) but when I go to create a virgin media account (to track order and sort my details) all I get is the page:


“we’re sorry to see you go.

Now you’ve left us, we’ve closed your account and you can no longer register for My Virgin Media.”

I am using the email address I used when purchasing broadband. I may have used this account for virgin media in the past but that was a very long time again (over 10 years?). 

Can someone please help resolve asap.

It's probably referencing your old account. Change your default browser and try the link again.

Hi Eddie,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome both here and to Virgin Media, we are sorry to hear you have been unable to set up an online account, when your services are installed it can take up to 72 Hours for the system to recognise the account, as it has now been a couple of Days, have you been able to set this up?
