Can't Activate Quick Start

I used to have service at the property but this was ended on 13th with my son taking over on a new contract with a quick start set-up. He has followed the guide with new modem but activation line says can't activate right now & then I just get a message about lines being closed due to Covid and directing me to fault site, that is of no help at all.

He works from home and has no mobile broadband coverage so is desperate for internet. Help asap or he'll be cancelling the contract.

Frustrating would be an understatement!!!

There is usually a delay of 14 days before a new contract can take over from an old one, but you may be lucky and get help from forum staff.

Your son is taking a risk using Virgin Media for work without a backup service as it's a residential service with no guarantee of continuity. He needs a Virgin Business contract.

His internet is now working. This issue is now resolved
