Hello, I am looking at the various options for an internet service to a church. They would want to live stream out to the internet, and provide public wifi access. They need a decent upload speed for the streaming.
The M350 service would be £62/month inc VAT, but £44/month for the first 18 months with the current deal. The only business service offering the same upload speed is Voom 500, which is £74/month. These both provide 35 up. 350 down would be fine.
There is a Voom 350 option that does 20 up for £60/month, which might be an option but would be cutting it finer, depending how much the actual speeds fluctuate.
My question is, do the terms of service allow what may be classed as business use of a residential service? I understand there wouldn't be the same service level agreement, fault response time, compensation for loss etc, but I'd like to know if this is possible so we can weigh up the options.
Any form of business use however small or infrequent will require a business account. Business accounts aren’t really that much more expensive than a residential account so I wonder if you have seen all the packages ? I will send you a private message and have one of the team discuss all the available options with you, I am sure there is something to suit your needs.

A few years ago I did a streaming for a party, it was only a few days per year and couldn't have a permanent installation. We settled on a mobile broadband deal. It wasn't the best download speed (about 100mbps) but the upload was 35mbps which was sufficient for our needs. Maybe something to check?
