I have a new self starter kit and the VM wall socket does not fit my new cables. Do I need an adaptor to make this work?

No I haven’t spoken to an advisor. I was advised by someone in the forum with a suggestion for an adaptor, which I’ll buy this weekend.
My hub box is damaged. See photos below, both sides are pushed in in the corner of the unit. Will it be replaced and will it effect my connection? Thanks
They are supposed to look like this. It’s not damaged.

The cable in the first picture is the one. As there is no VM socket you will need this adapter to allow the two cables to join up.

Ok, a slightly odd design! But, if that’s how it’s suppose to look then at least I know it will work fine when I eventually get it working!
Can you advise on an adaptor? See my original post or what has been suggested is the correct adaptor?
Thanks

Yes it’s the right adaptor. 🙂
You can also screw that cable directly to the Hub for testing. However that would leave the Hub running without the isolator.
Or call and get a manned install if you really want a wall socket installed.

The design makes it more stable when all the cables are plugged in at the back.
