Cable went to wrong house

New to this so apologies if wrong board etc. Should have had cable installed. Workmen dug up wrong price of tarmac and then fitted cable to next door. We explained situation to virgin over the course of an hour on the phone.They said our property does not exist! We are 124 next door is 124a. They only have 124a on their system. Utterly unhelpful on phone. They say they cannot install cable because we don't exist!! Any ideas gratefully received!
