Broadband freezes on error 82000400, requiring modem restart

My VMDG480 Superhub 1 is running in modem mode. Recently it has started to freeze; the internet connection drops, and the modem will not respond on the local admin portal. The modem lights stay on as usual. Problems started a week ago; has frozen twice today.

To recover connectivity, I have to power-cycle the modem.

The log shows 82000400 critical modem errors with T3, T4 timeouts at the time the service freezes.

Any suggestions? Time to call an engineer?

I'd say the first thing to do is ring customer services and say the hub is faulty and is a hub 1 can you have a new one. If they say they need to start a new contract come back here because you don't. Once you have a hub 3 we can see if the issues persist.
