Broadband down since Monday!!!

My broadband has been down on and off since Monday. What is going on. I get texts saying its fixed but it isn't. Its unusable. My pc won't work, my amazon echo won't work. When will this be resolved. Ironically you have put the price up when it's not working.

What did Virgin say when you phoned them to report the fault?

When calling 150 I get told its a complex issue and they are on with it. I get texts saying its fixed when it isn't. I really don't have an hour spare to wait for someone to answer the phone. Its not just me other people nearby have same problem.

I have taken a look and there does appear to be an issue in your area. 

 

The current estimated fix date for this is 15th July 3pm and the work is logged under the reference F007187617 .

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this problem and our engineers are working hard to get it fixed.

According to the new Ofcom rules you  can claim "£8 per day for a total loss of service after 2 full working days from registering the loss of service"

So if you called on Monday to report the fault you'll be able to claim 5 days so far (Wednesday to Sunday).

I didn't call. Didn't fancy the 1hr plus waiting times. Just clicked the online thing but not sure it worked
