Broadband Installation delays

Hi all,

I’ve had a couple of delays to my BB installation, which doesn’t give me much confidence it’ll be sorted on the latest date shared today. Here’s the timeline, please can someone give me some pointers about how best to address this with VM?

ordered: 10th July

original install scheduled 15th july

1st install delay: 15 august

2nd install delay (notified today, 10 august): 25 august

the general reason given is due to the engineer not being able to complete works outside my property. Not clear if I’ll be compensated. Not clear if 25 august will be met or not.

Hey Brockley7473, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am so sorry to hear about this install problem.

Sometimes they can get delayed due to issues like this with planning permission there are also other many factors for this.

I would be happy to raise a complaint for you and double check the dates for you? Cheers
