Heya,
I just had a new line installed (1Gb package) yesterday with a Hub 5 (not 5x). I tried to connect to the VM Connect app but it takes 30min of "installing" until it times out saying it can't find the hub.
I made sure to connect straight to the wifi, no VPN, right next to the router for a stronger signal. I also tried clearing data and cache on the app and re-installing it. I also tried renaming my wifi to force an reconfig. Still no dice.
My husband also tried all the above on his phone, same issue.
Wifi is otherwise working fine. But the signal in my home office is so weak that I can't even stay connected, so I'm reliant on a very slow (<50mbps) powerline ethernet to get my work done. I need to connect to the app to order a pod as soon as possible.
Any other idea besides everything I've already tried?

Mmmh the problem magically sorted itself in the last 3 hours. So I'll mark this thread as resolved with "wait for a while and it should eventually work itself out".

Connect directly to the HUB, using 192.168.0.1 in a web browser, sign in, complete the setup, then try again.

I did that as well, before renaming the Wifi. Didn't work.
