Back to sky???

Now I remember why I went back to Sky last time !!!

I record a lot of programmes, if I record something that's on virgin media at 7 pm or 8 pm I have to put a pin in to watch it before 9 pm or 10 pm !!! If I record something that's on at 9 pm I have to put pin in if I watch it before 10 pm, I have even recorded a movie that was on virgin media at 3 pm and had to put pin it cos I wanted to watch it before 10 pm, and the programmes I have recorded are not even rated 15 or 18????

Example:All you cant eat (secrets of the mega buffet) recorded at 9 pm I have to put my pin in if I want to watch it before 10 pm !!!!! It's about food !!!!!

Can't wait till my contract ends, this is rediculous, there should be an option to remove pin, or at the very least remove the need for a pin to watch programmes that do not are not age appropriate !!!!!

A pain in the A*** !!!!!

I want to remove the need for a pin!!!!!

Re: Back to sky???

I want to remove the need for a pin!!!!!

Well you can. Guidance here for the V6

If you don’t want to be asked for your PIN when you’re playing a recording from My Shows, you can just switch it off, except for some movies that have 12+ ratings on them.

To do this:

  1. Press Home on your remote
  2. Select Help & Settings
  3. Select Parental Controls
  4. Enter your current PIN
  5. Select Request a PIN to Watch Recordings
  6. Select Do not request a PIN"

i believe the content is irrelevant, it's the time of broadcast that is relevant, on both platforms.
