We had a HUB5, then a HUB3 came, which we don't really want to swap...
Is this the result.?

cmreg-vmdg660-cancel-b.cfg!

Almost certainly - when a replacement hub is shipped, the previous hub is deactivated either when the new hub is connected and becomes active, failing that the systems just deactivate the previous hub after a couple of weeks or so.

You can probably get on line by swapping the hubs, if you want the Hub 5 then you'll have to hope the forum staff can sort the reactivation of the Hub 5 for you, because the chances of the crummy telephone support staff being able to understand the issue and resolve it are vanishingly small.

Thanks @Andrew-G, but the early call was made to the registrations line (150)... With MAC to hand it was sorted in 5 minutes thanks to Elaine (in London!)...  I'm seemingly getting to know them all!
Fair enough, it was just a bit of mis-admin.. After 25years of Diamond Diamond / NTL / VM custom (and by the pile of old Naughties JTAG'd Ambit/surfboards I've got a good clue as to where to go with those mac..

Cool, nice one Andrew, I was considering following your suggestion, I think we want the Hub5 though although I can't work out a difference in modem-mode, but I'm sure there will be..

Thanks buddy, nice one.  May your sync never be lost

I do disagree... Generally if you know you can guide the phone staff to the right track, I always find out what the weather is like there and stuff.. To be honest I always start with "Hello %name%, I'm Neal, can I give you my mac".

Cabling/RF issues are a whole other game indeed,!
And PACKAGES, wow, they are like a game of chess to anyone except marketeers.!!!

cool Andrew, nice one 🙂
