Another Moving Cable question

Hi all.

I've seen a couple of posts about moving the broadband entry point. It costs £25 (very reasonable!)

My situation is that I'm having an extension built to the side of my house. The existing entry point is in the way so I need it moving anywhere else just to avoid it being damaged by the builders. The new location would be temporary. Once the extension is complete, I have a definite entry point in mind so would want it moved again. Is it possible to do this in such a way that once the extension is complete, I could move the entry point from the temporary place to the new location myself? If not then I'm happy to pay £50 for two moves. At the same time, could I get my router upgraded to the Hub 5 ? I'm slowly getting wifi 6 devices in my house and this seems like the ideal time to get everything done at once. I'm assuming there'll be a separate charge for the router upgrade as the existing router is working fine. Finally, your price guide page doesn't work. None of the options expand to reveal the prices.

Re: Another Moving Cable question

Someone else will comment on the moves... but the Hub5 is not on general release yet - it is by invite only and explicitly excludes 1GB customers.

You would be better investing in your own wifi6 router or Mesh sytem
