to my TV...but I am trying to figure out what cable this is...VM says it could be aerial or satellite (they don't know)'s connected to the grey box at the front of my house. Anyone?

It look like a cable for a VM Hub or a VM TV box.

Certainly does not connect directly to a TV if it’s from a VM omnibox outside.

Post a photo of any inside/outside boxes.

If it is VM then there are no free services you can use. Virgin cable TV is a pay TV platform. All the equipment feeding the TV service is owned & run by VM, hence all the channels (including BBC & ITV) are encrypted & a rented set top box is required.

Have you subscribed to VM TV? If so the cable connects to the TV box via a white adapter called an IEC connector which has a female connector at one end for the cable. Here's a photo of my connection.

Hello osikosik,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.

The cable in the picture would connect to the set top box via the adapter pictured in Roger_Gooner's post.

Have you received the adapter with equipment? If not, please do let us know and we will be happy to assist further.
