The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Just shows how hazardous gardening is! Imagine if the electricity companies were allowed to toss cables across gardens like VirginMedia, my install engineer this week was saying how many repairs he'd done with cables cut by hedge trimmers. Who puts a cable in a hedge?

Update: I called the number suggested and arranged for a technician to call. Instead two VM vans were onsite and service was restored within two hours of my call. Great service!
