I've been away for a week and on returning I find that my speed is only coming up at 100-150mb, even though I am on the top oomph package. Before I went away the speed would be between 450 and 550.
I've done the 'check your broadband' under 'my virgin media' and that is saying no problem. I've rebooted the hub and that hasn't helped.
Is there someone at Virgin who could check from their end.
Phone customer services and report the problem.
Thanks for posting, sorry about the low speeds. From running a background check, everything seems fine. Is this the case? If not, please let us know and we can assist you further.

Thanks for the offer.
24 hours after me returning and starting to use again the broadband was back to normal and a test a minute ago gave 465Mbps.
Should really get more than that from an Ethernet cable connected device. I get 548 on mine.
I can do several checks in a row and the figure will move between 450 and 550. I gather the figure Virgin themselves say you should have is a minimum of around 450, so I guess I am within tolerance.
