14 days of disconnection due to existing customer at address
We are due to move in to our new property on January 20th, but because the existing tenant having virgin media broadband, we have to wait 14 days from their move out date to close the existing account at the address.
As we both will be working from home, waiting this long will unfortunately mean we will have to look elsewhere, but we would both prefer to have Virgin.
Is there something that can be done to reduce this time? The current tenants will be moving out on the 16th January and we will be moving in on the 20th, 4 days later. I noticed on a similar question that the wait time was reduced by 10 days to 4, so I was hoping someone could get in touch to make this happen.
