14 day delay

I am moving to a new property this week and want to set up a Virgin broadband account there (I am not currently with Virgin). The current tenants (who are moving out) are on Virgin. Whenever I click to make an order for broadband, I get the following message:

‘A Virgin Media account already exists at this address, so we will need to delay sending your kit for 14 days while we close this account’. 

Is there any way to speed this up? Given the WFH situation, I really need to get the internet up and running within a couple days of moving in.  Would it be quicker to order once the existing tenants have officially moved out/cancelled their account? 
 
I tried calling customer service but couldn’t get through as it required me to already have an account number with Virgin.
