wifi keeps dropping in and out

Haven't been with virgin long but our WiFi signal keeps dropping in and out. Getting notifications from Google Nest cameras that they're offline throughout the day and night.

The Virgin connection point on the street is directly opposite the house over the road.

Only have a Sonos boost and Yale house alarm hard wired and they don’t really say if dropped or not. 

notice it massively on the cameras and when working from home on the laptops. Can’t have two of us on a zoom/teams call.

You need to test it with a device that is wired into the hub with an ethernet cable.. as inconvenient as that may be, try to work when wired into the hub and see if you get the same problems..

Have checked with wired connection and is doing the same. My wife's laptop kept dropping out of zoom calls even when hard wired and the cameras kept going offline too.

in which case the next step is to set up a BQM and post your router stats..

browse to http://192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 if in modem mode) - do not log in - click the "router status" button and copy/paste the output from the Upstream, Downstream and Network Log pages back to this thread.. someone who understands all of the information will I'm sure take a look and let you know if there are any obvious problems with it.
