So my son has our main internet router in his bedroom hardwired to his gaming pc so I needed to get vm booster boxes to get wifi downstairs. I have set up the boxes and can connect to our phones and tv's downstairs and all works great until I turn my laptop on. As soon as I turn my laptop on my booster box looses signal and as soon as I close the laptop it powers on again. I rang vm and they said "your internet is working so you need new boosters, im now on my 3rd set of boosters and none make any difference. Any ideas how a laptop can disconnect the booster boxes?
Re: wifi booster disconnects when I turn my laptop on
Update the drivers for the WLAN card on the laptop?
