website blocked by router

Hi,

I have been using a website recently without issue,

Now when i try to access, i get this error message   Sorry, xx.xx.xx.xxx has been banned.

Can log in fine via mobile data on phone, so guess it must be a router issue,

is there any way around this

thanks

Re: website blocked by router

not blocked by the router.
The website owners have banned your IP.
Nothing you can do about it

Re: website blocked by router

Thanks for swift replies

website is http://www.inplaytrading.com/

spoken to website owners, and they assure me that they have not banned me, it would cost them money 🙂

not convinced IP address is mine, not one i recognise anyway (which leads me again to believe the router has banned that address?)

Re: website blocked by router

It’s your public IP address.

Google “what is my IP” and the same address will come back.

The only explanation is they (or their webhost) have blocked your IP

Re: website blocked by router

IP address is your public address.
Around the Port Talbot area.

The error you are getting is coming from the Remote server so its 100% them that need to fix this. Its not a VM problem so nothing they can do

Re: website blocked by router

The ip address is on a naughty boys list then saying that so is mine.

You could try turning of your router for a bit then turn it back on hoping for a new address.

Re: website blocked by router

you won't get a new address. Thats not how the network works

Nope you’ll still get the same IP.

Although they’re “dynamic” addresses they’re assigned to the MAC address of the hub
