paying for 200mbps, getting less than 30mbps regularly!

I have been on the 200 mbps plan for some time now and it started out great but within a month I'm getting massive drops in speed and downloading anything takes forever as every speed test I've done gives me a reading of 20 or lower, HELP!

I've reset my hub and it doesn't seem to help!

WiFi connection!

I don't want to use wired connections as I'd need a long cable!

Then you have no way of accurately measuring speeds then.

Wifi speeds and connectivity aren’t guaranteed so you have to test with a wired device.

fair point but I've measured on two separate WiFi devices (phone and playstation) and they both give similarly low readings!

OK. But that’s still not on a wired connection.

Re: paying for 200mbps, getting less than 30mbps regularly!

Hi Hayley,

I'm regularly getting under 50mpbs on both devices I've tested.

Unfortunately I'm not able to run an Ethernet cable to the console!

Then you still have no accurate way of ascertaining your actual speeds.
