no socket! Only Wire?

I have just received my broadband box and i need to connect it, i do not have a virgin socket but i do have these 2 wires which run out of the house. They are not the Ariel as i’ve already got that in the TV

Do i need an adapter for this or do i need an engineer?

Please help!! I don’t have any luck speaking on the phone

What is on the outside of the wall? A brown box? Something else? A picture would be good.

Okay you will probably need to call in then and request an engineer to install.

Those cables look to be Sky cables. not VM.

Where does the single brown cable go that is below the twin cable in the red brickwork photo ?   That looks to be more like a VM cable.
