Hi, hope someone can help!
just got a new phone - Ulefone Note 7p, which works well in every way - wifi, texts and calls all work perfectly well, however mobile data has never worked on it.
have tried absolutely everything, factory reset, added APN, ages on the phone with several Virgin Mobile assistants, also emailing Ulefone customer services in China, no luck
trawled the internet for answers and i am starting to suspect it is not my phone, but my Virgin Mobile Sim only sim which is brand new
Can anyone help please?!
Hi, went to my nearest Virgin Mobile Shop in Walthamstow and they managed to fix it!
the problem was the APN, when i called Virgin Mobile they told me to put Internet in the Name field
however you should put Virgin Media Mobile internet - this is not what both written and verbal advice form Virgin Mobile was, so very happy that they could sort it in store!
bring back more shops I say!

I am now having this problem. I have tried the fix below and it's not working. Any updates?
I have a Ulefone Armor x7, put the sim card in and calls, texts and Wi-Fi work fine
The Virgin Mobile text help service gave the following APN settings:
Name: Virgin Internet
MMS Proxy: 22.214.171.124
MMS Port: 8080
Authentication Type: PAP
There are other fields in the APN set-up that they haven't specified info for (not sure if that matters?)
Internet & MMS APN.Name: WEBAPN: goto.virginmobile.ukMMSC: http://mms.virginmobile.co.uk:8002MMS proxy: 126.96.36.199MMS port: 8080MCC: 234MNC: 38Authentication type: CHAPAPN type: *APN Protocol: IPv4APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4Leave all other options blank/Not set
If the above fails try again but change the authentication type to PAP
