mis-sold renewal

My 1-yr M100 broadband contract is coming to an end.

Had a webchat with a representative, "Mary", who offered me a 12-month renewal for £26.50 instead of the £44.00 I would have to pay when the current contract ended.

A few days later I get an email saying I agreed to a 12-month £44.00 contract.

So "Mary" told me one thing, and signed me up to another.

 

Great mis-selling, Virgin.

You have a 14 day cooling off period, phone up and cancel

Well, after I complained and got a response via email confirming that the new bill is £26.50

Yet today I got a bill for £44.00

I mean, what the hell? It seems like the customer service that run Virgin are all outsourced to various countries and just fob you off with ****ty answers.
