I've got more than one VM network termination point in my house, and I was wondering if it would be possible to buy an additional router to add to the second outlet and use the same log-in details.

Would that work?

No. You can only have one Hub connected to the incoming feed. You can run an ethernet cable from the Hub to the other location, either internally or externally. If you need WiFi in that room you can fit a wireless access point to that cable. 

Or fit a better WiFi router or mesh to the Hub, that will reach to the other room.
