is anyone else having really bad broadband and wi-fi issues

for the past 3-4 days my internet speed has been incredibly slow and i lag constantly while gaming. running broadband tests constantly places me at download of upload speeds that don’t surpass 6gb despite my ping saying it is at 20ms. is anyone else experience this because it’s seriously doing my head in
