frequent broadband disconnects

My mother is seeing frequent VM broadband disconnections and (until a reboot of SH 3), extremely low speeds (approx 1Mbps download and 0.5 Mbps upload). The reboot has fixed the speed problem but the disconnections persist (sometimes every few minutes).

Router stats and BMQ appended below.

Grateful for any insights on the problem.
