continuing dropouts after 3 visits

After 3 visits this is not getting stupid, still getting dropouts at various times of the day,all 3 engineers found 3 different faults, each time everything was fine for a day or two then went back to dropping out,the only thing left to change is the hub itself,so if i could have a hab 4 that would be great and hopefully solve my problem.

Re: continuing dropouts after 3 visits

Your Pre & Post RS Error counts are very high.

In an ideal world they would be at zero and stay there. To zero them can you reboot the Hub using this method and then keep an eye on the counts.

Switch the Hub off using the small switch on the rear of the Hub next to the power cord and pull the PSU plug from the wall socket.

Give it a good 5 minutes put the plug back in and switch the Hub back on.

Allow the Hub a few minutes to fully restart then check your error count again in one hour.

Re: continuing dropouts after 3 visits

Can you switch the Hub off using the small switch then unplug the PSU.

Then ...

Go round ALL the VM co-ax cables, including V6 / Vito boxes, if you want disconnect and reconnect and make sure they are good finger tight.

Then ...

Plug back in and switch on and leave it 5 minutes after reboot and repost the second table of the Downstream data.
