I have devices paused via the connect app, but now connect won't connect so the devices are still paused. Have tried all the rebooting etc.

Sorry to hear you having been experiencing issues with the a device via the connect app. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app? It may be that it needs to complete a software update.
