Xiaomi WiFi booster

Installer my new Hub 3, all good, nice and easy. However. It has allowed my Xiaomi Pro WiFi booster to connect, which is good, but won't recognise it, which is not. I've gone to run a black spot scan and this comes up. Ideas on how to get round this? It's likely something really obvious, apologies, but all help welcomed.

And in case that doesn't load in, it reads: please connect to your hub or WiFi booster. It looks like you're connected to your network via an unrecognised access hub.

Re: Xiaomi WiFi booster

Have you paired the booster with the hub correctly?

Re: Xiaomi WiFi booster

Hi there, pretty sure it's all paired. The Xiaomi hub should be out of range but seems connected.

Re: Xiaomi WiFi booster

Did you copy the hubs SSID to the booster or is it broadcasting its own SSID?

Re: Xiaomi WiFi booster

Thank you for the reply! I didn't add anything to it. It just connected up to the hub after I entered the password.

Re: Xiaomi WiFi booster

and this should confirm it's aware of the Mi Booster, I think?

Re: Xiaomi WiFi booster

What password?

I’m guessing the booster is broadcasting the hubs SSID If you can’t see a separate network.

Have you tried logging into the boosters gui or app to check its connection status?

Re: Xiaomi WiFi booster

Yeah, on the Xiaomi home app it's confirmed as connected.
