My work VPN STOPPED WORKING. My IT department gave me this blurb but no one at virgin understood this.

they transferred me to a subscription service to pay for looking into this?? 

please help as i cannot work from  home if not fixed

"I have been advised by my IT support provider that my current router does not allow my work IPSec/IKEv2 VPN and therefore I either need my current router configuring by yourselves or a replacement router/hub provided that does allow IPSec and IKE traffic on UDP500/4500 outbound."

I'm sorry to hear of the issues that you're having trying to connect to your work VPN to the network.

What have you been advise so far by the team?

Which model of hub, do you currently have with us?



The port clamp been activated/opened by virgin but did not work.

i have hub 5

any help will be appreciated

Put hub in modem mode with PC see if VPN works then look at getting your own router.

Is your IP being blocked by the other end if not working in modem mode?

hi there, it's the hub5. my work has now "changed" something and it's working again. Thank you everyone for your assistance. 

hi, i did try this but it still did not work.  my work said they have changed some settings their side and it is working again.  Apparently there was quite a few employees that is with Virgin that experienced this.
