Hi i have new gigabit broadband im getting 1gig on the box but on wifi im lucky if im getting 200mbps on all devices

Well WiFi is always a bit of a black art, as they say. So what we need to know is, what speed are you actually getting through the hub, ie is it a connectivity problem or just a wifi problem - and the fixes will be different depending on where is hold up is?

Do you have a laptop, PC etc. that you can connect directly to the hub via a 'good' (Cat 5e or better) cable? If so and you can do a speed test on that, we can possibly rule out a connection issue.

No bit the virgin box is connected via wired connection that os getting the full gig

Your expected Wifi speeds are anywhere between poor and good. There’s no number you can put on it speed wise.
