Wifi light flashing on superhub 3.

Hi

The wifi light was flashing green on my superhub 3.

When I did a reboot it seemed to clear it.

Is the light warning of a fault when it flashes?

Re: Wifi light flashing on superhub 3.

The intention is that flashing green indicates that the WPS button has been pressed to connect a new device, but there's a long standing software bug that causes the hub to sometimes flash green even when you haven't pressed the WPS button.

Nothing to worry about, but if the flashing light bothers you, then stick some black electrical tape over the LED (cutting edge technology).

Thank you Andruser.

That might explain the issue.

Hopefully virgins tech team will acknowledge this and hopefully work on a fix 😁

I certainly didnt change any settings for the light to flash. I got home from work. It was flashing 😐. It did stop. After a reboot yesterday 😁

I’m very sure there will be no fix from VM for the Hub3 firmware. To them it’s a minor issue, just like the misplaced decimal point in the upstream power levels, unlikely to be fixed.
