Wifi connection

Hi my Wi-Fi is very slow and loses signal intermittently. I have checked the cables and rebooted the hub. Also when I run scans they say the signal is excellent. But why is it losing signal? Is it because of all they people using the network or is there something I can do to fix it?

Thanks.

Re: Wifi connection

Hi,

When you say your signal is excellent but lose signal do you mean the wifi just cuts out?

Re: Wifi connection

Yes. The Wi-Fi symbol on my phone has constant flashing arrows as if it is trying to keep connected to the Wi-Fi.

Thanks.

Re: Wifi connection

Flashing wifi lights is a known bug on some Hub3’s and has been done to death on the boards, just search for flashing wifi light.

In short it is the Hub looking for a WPS connection. try pressing the Hub's WPS button for around 20secs, or if that doesn't work, try disabling the push button WPS in the Hub's GUI. You can search the boards for further info – or just use some black sticky tape.

Re: Wifi connection

Thanks for your reply.

There are no flashing lights on the hub the light is normal. It's my phone's Wi-Fi arrows that are connecting and unconnecting constantly.

Re: Wifi connection

Have you checked if a wired device also loses connection at the same time?
