Wifi connected no internet

Happy Friday all!

I have been having issues with my Virgin Wifi for about 2-3 weeks and cannot resolve the issue. I am getting wifi connected without internet on my devices intermittently.

I have Hub 3.0 and completed below -

1)Rebooted all devices

2)Rebooted Reuter

3)Factory reset the Reuter.

4)Tested 2/5ghz connections.

Any thing else I need to try?

Re: Wifi connected no internet

So what do you mean by "intermittently" ?

Is it distance related? Do both bands drop out? Have you tried renaming the SSID's of the two bands so they can be seen separately?

Re: Wifi connected no internet

60% of the day is it un-useable on a wifi device and range doesn't make a difference.

Re: Wifi connected no internet

So, i have just borrowed and connected an AP to the virgin hub (via ethernet) then created a new wifi connection named "Test" and all device connect to the AP perfectly. So it seems to be the Wifi device on the Virgin Hub 3.0.

Is there a Virgin tech who can investigate this for me please?

Re: Wifi connected no internet

The Wi-Fi on the hub is poor. Just use your own better equipment and the problem is solved for good.
