Wifi connected but no internet

Joining in

hub 5 is connected and activated. However, on one of my devices (my android mobile) the wifi is connecting but is not connecting to internet. It displays as ! connected to wifi but “connected without internet”.  Cant do anything and using all my mobile data allowance. Tried everything from unplugging hub, resetting network, turning phone off and on again. Please help



These are the symptom of a device that has been blocked by Wi-Fi Pausing.

Thanks for using the Community Forums to get this issue with your mobile WIFI connection looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration 😥 I would be more than happy to look into this for you!

I'd like to ask some questions to get a better understanding of the issue if you don't mind -

  • Has your mobile ever been able to connect to your Hub's WIFI?
  • What handset model is it?
  • Have you rebooted your handset to see if this resolved the issue?
  • Please try forgetting the Hub's SSID on your handset by going into Connections > WIFI > Click on the cog next to the Hub's SSID > "Forget". This will erase the SSID & Hub password from your handset, so you'll need to input the password again once you reconnect to the WIFI.
