Wifi Pods – replacement Hub 3. Pod stopped working

Hello VM com,
i have a new wifi pod. it worked perfectly well, via ethernet cable, until i got a replacement Hub 3.0 (as the old Hub 3 wasn't working properly). Now the pod doesn't transmit wifi (light comes on though). i must have called Virgin six times and been on the phone for almost a day in total and no-one seems to know how it can be fixed. But there must be someone who knows!
It seems the Pod is looking for my old Hub. Some tech guy did mention about updating the Hubs Mac address – I informed Virgin helpline of this and they tried that and still no joy. I've tried all I can; rebooted hub, plugged pod in right next to hub etc.
