Wifi Pods- how do you know when they are working?

I have 3 wifi pods, 

one pod has a constant white light and a whirling noise from the pod itself- this one is furtherest from the hub and appears to work. 

the other two have always had a slowly blinking white light on them and dont appear to work. They have been like this since i got them and I dont believe they are working but they sit closer to the hub than the first mentioned pod

I have terrible wifi in my house and it is annoying as Im paying for these pods but they dont seem to be working. Does anyone know of the pod light descriptions I have given, if these are working our not?

Pods without a light is working and the blinking pod has a fault you would need to ring to send out a replacement

So from what you are saying none of the pods are working as they either have a solid white light or a blinking white light
