I recently changed the Wifi password of our Virgin Media Hub 3.0 away from the default to increase password security. I also changed security settings to WPA2. However, this greatly impacted our network performance and we were unable to connect devices such as our Playstation 5 to the internet and play online games.The Wifi was basically unusable.
I reverted our wireless security to WPA and that has improved the network somewhat, however our connection is still intermittent and goes down frequently, which is incredibly frustrating as I work from home! We are also still struggling to connect certain devices to the Wifi network such as our Sonos wireless speaker.
Any recommendations or suggestions for a fix would be much appreciated!

Pretty sure VM test the hub default wifi settings so they will see nothing wrong.
Look at getting your own router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode.
