WiFi

Have a new android phone and tablet, tablet connects fine to WiFi , the phone however will not find the network, finds others fine but not ours. We have other devices connect to it fine , android, Apple etc. Been onto Samsung support , VM, tried everything possible but it refuses to find it. The router can’t be at fault. The EE support suggested that the phone could be faulty but it finds other networks so this seems unlikely. Any ideas?

Re: WiFi

try this :

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android.
  2. Scroll to and tap either "General management" or "System," depending on what device you have.
  3. Tap either "Reset" or "Reset options."
  4. Tap the words "Reset network settings."
  5. You'll have to confirm that you want to reset your network settings

Then see if it find it.

Re: WiFi

Sounds to me like the phone doesn't support 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Smart Wi-Fi is enabled on the Super Hub. That combo can create this situation.

SH2 modem mode | AC86U router | AC68U node
