WiFi range has dropped on hub 3

My hub got a solid red light a couple of weeks ago, I contacted vmedia and was told as long as I was still getting internet and it wasn't hot then it should be fine. 

The hub isn't hot but have noticed the range has dropped to the extent where there are blackspots in the house where I had no trouble with it before. Nothing has changed, still in the same place, nothing has blocked it, the devices connecting to it are still the same. I have read that it could be that the hub is on its way out, so how do I go about getting a replacement. Can never get through on the phones and when doing via WhatsApp it takes an age, and then when you do they just treat it like it's to do with cabled devices when it's not. The cabled devices are fine. It's the WiFi connection that's the problem. 

I've tried all the stuff that support ask you to do.
