WiFi pods

Can someone please advise? I have just rang Virgin about supplying the new WiFi pods and was told that they can only be supplied if I have a Hub4.

Is this correct?

my understanding is that they're free on gig or Ultimate Oomph, or you can rent them for a fiver a month on other plans..

Re: WiFi pods

No it isn't. They can be considered for Hub 3 and Hub 4 users dependent on the actual wifi issue. Usually one Pod to solve a blackspot problem. But they are chargeable at £5 a month unless you are an ultimate oomph or Gig 1 customer, when they are free.

Re: WiFi pods

Yes I am on Ultimate oomph so I'm wondering the best way to contact them as my enquiry was made by phone on 150...

someone mentioned in another thread earlier today that you needed to speak to the tech team, rather than the service desk - as only the tech teams can order at the moment.. you may need to call back and ask to be routed to the tech support teams..

Re: WiFi pods

Good afternoon @eyedoc101

We are working as hard as possible to replenish stock of our WiFi pods.

Sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused.

Kind regards,

Re: WiFi pods

Why can't the team place an order, so when stock arrives they can go out? I have spent cumulatively 3-4 hours on the phone, so far

Re: WiFi pods

Thank you for your post.

It isn't something that we are offering at the moment.

However I will pass your feedback on to our management team.

Kind regards,
