WiFi network

Hi all, I have been having issues with WiFi recently. My speed testing has been about 32 but should be 350! I went into the settings on VM app and noticed I have a connection named just number ‘1’. I connected to this with my password and my connection is up to 380! I didn’t create this connection. Any answers please? Thanks

Re: WiFi network

What do you mean number 1?

Where are you seeing that?

Re: WiFi network

Not sure the screen **bleep** is going through. On my mobile, WiFi settings, networks, I have a section names ‘my networks’ and the network named ‘1’ is in there. I have also logged on to my hub3 and it is showing there too. Thanks

Re: WiFi network

Network 1 is just a default name.  I'm on Network 2 which was used to set up the computer when I bought it.

Re: WiFi network

Ok thanks, but still not sure how this appeared, my default network is the VMxxxxxx network, I have not created the ‘1’ network (it wasn’t there before).  My speeds are much faster on the ‘1’ network and no longer very good on the usual default network? My hub3 says the VMxxxxxx network is 2.5G and the ‘1’ network is 5G. Should I just stay connected to ‘1’ ? Thanks

Re: WiFi network

You can rename “1” to something else if you wish.
