Over the last month or so I have been getting a lot of slowing down and buffering on devices within the house. I have just done a major update package on my Samsung tablet and I am now getting regular messages when using apps that my WiFi speed is slow because my Broadband width is low.
I have a Hub 3 (?) and contract for M100 as part of my VM package. Broadband speed is regularly dropping down to 60-70 mbps.
The forum is showing this seems to be a universal problem. What's the answer?
60-70 isn't bad at peak times. Are you connecting on wifi on the 2.4GHz band or the 5 GHz one. Or is there just one SSID?
You could try separating the SSID's of the 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi bands and switching off "channel optimisation" - that often helps Hub3 users get better wifi performance - but its still no substitute for your own better kit.
Also what are connections like on an ethernet cable connection?
