WiFi booster

I’ve been having so many problems with my WiFi working from home. Constant dropping out of connection which is becoming a serious problem whilst working. Been trying to reset my hub and boosters. I downloaded the Virgin media app and my booster and hub have now combined. Is there anyway for the booster and hub to be changed so they are separate again?

Re: WiFi booster

How do I do that? I’ve just re-jigged it around as when the boosters were fitted the Virgin media engineer actually plugged the big booster in as the wired booster and used the small booster as the wireless booster

Re: WiFi booster

You will have to look in the paperwork or search online.

Re: WiFi booster

I have tried that, the WiFi for the booster is still coming under the same name as the WiFi hub

Re: WiFi booster

Logon to the booster by it’s IP address and too can change the broadcast name for the SSID

Which bit?

The IP you can get from the Connected Devices page within the hubs admin gui.

The password to then login to the IP is stickered on the booster itself
