WiFi booster pod

I need to order a WiFi booster pod,  I'm on the oomph deal but the telephone number doesn't answer and the website sends me around in circles,  I only have 20mb speed in my dining room

Re: WiFi booster pod

Official route is to use the Connect app. This will scan for blackspots and should allow you to order Pods. However some users report problems with this app.
If you wait here a day or two a VM Mod will pick this up.

Re: WiFi booster pod

Hi @Binkey1,

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forums. We're here to help.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble ordering a Wi-Fi Pod. May I ask why it is that you need one exactly? Are you experiencing any issues with your Wi-Fi signal/connection at the moment?

Thanks,

Re: WiFi booster pod

Yes the signal is very inconsistent in some parts of the house, even when only one device is connected

Re: WiFi booster pod

Hi Binkey1,

Thanks for coming back to us on this one and confirming the issues you're having with WiFi.
Our new WiFi Max service allows you to have up to 3 pods. Whilst the 1st pod can be requested, a second and third pod can only be ordered after diagnostics have been completed and we determine that a Pod is the correct fix for the connection issue. The pods can only be sent out one at a time too.

It's worth having a look at the service as a whole here and please note that unless you're on a 1GB speed or a Volt package then there is a charge of £8 per month.
Once you've had a look at the above link, if you want to go ahead we will need to confirm some information with you to get that first pod sent out.
I have sent you a private message regarding this. Just click on the little plum envelope at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox.
Thanks,

Re: WiFi booster pod

Hi Binkey1,

Thanks for coming back and sticking with me via private message.

I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy with the monthly charge for the WiFi Max service. You can speak to the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111 and they can do a package review with you to see if they can move you to a different package that includes the services as standard.

Alternatively you can also find help and support, including tips and tricks via this link here

Keep us posted on how things go.

Thanks,
