WiFi booster compatibility

Hi guys, just looking for some advice! I've been given a single WiFi booster and I have been trying to set it up with no luck. See I believe I am in possession of the "large one" out of the pair the boosters come in. I already have a powerline network set up in my home - the Netgear Virgin media ones. My question is: can the booster connect to this powerline network or do I need the second part of the pair of WiFi boosters (the smaller one)? Any info would be appreciated!

Re: WiFi booster compatibility

They aren’t cross compatible with other boosters.

You'll need to remove any existing powerline boosters before using the newer Virgin ones, of which you’ll need the smaller one that connects to the hub.

I do not work for Virgin Media - all opinions expressed are of my own and all answers are provided from my own and past experiences.
