WiFi Pod - Issue with Customer Service

Hello,

Can I request a mod or admin to contact me?

I've made numerous calls this morning, been hung up on and been told incorrect advise relating to the WiFi pods.

I have superhub 5 on Volt to 1 gig and 2 WiFi Pods (white)

I need a 3rd Wi-Fi pod to reach an area of the house that is a bit of a deadzone because devices in that area of the house are out of reach. WiFI Pod black have a power cord rather than plugging directly onto the socket so more flexibility in where they’re placed and if ther eare restrictions around the socket.

I called VM to request a 3rd WiFI pod and specifically requested the WiFi pod black, agent assured me it he ordered black. The WiFi pod white are very clunky and it is not possible to plug it in where I need it and I also need pod elevated and not low at floor level, the socket where it is required is also not positioned suitably in order to allow the clunky pod to fit because of the restricted space below and around it. The plug on the black pod is alot smaller and better suited to fit the socket i need it on.

When the delivery for the pod arrived it turned out to be WiFi pod white, not black. I've wasted a lot of time on the phone to advisors that are really trying my patience.

Can someone please help.

Hi @la_familla thanks for your post here in the Community, although we're sorry to hear of the concerns you've raised here.

You have been misadvised here, and we will be feeding this back to the agent as unfortunately it is not possible to mix and match the type of WiFi Pods so the agent should have known it is not possible to send a black WiFi Pod.

As your first two Pods are white, we cannot send a black third WiFi Pod and this must be white.

In order to receive black WiFi Pods, you must return the white one to us but this is a prolonged process and we cannot guarantee the new ones we send out to you, will be the black ones - it is purely down to stock availability at the time.

How can I arrange to send all 3 white Wi-Fi pods back? I require black pods with WiFi6. I guess I will just have to keep returning them until black ones are issued or until VM figure out a way to allow the customer to choose.

Consider a Wi-Fi Mesh that you own and control or for better results install some Wi-Fi Access Points.

This way you can buy and install / control a Wi-Fi network that is delivering suitable coverage for the size, layout and construction of your property.
