I’ve manage to get hold of a Wi-Fi pod (white) 2nd hand as Virgin haven’t been able to supply them. The Wi-Fi isn’t connecting to the hub. Does anyone know how get it to connect?

The pods are added to your account when shipped from VM.

They must be associated with the HUB via MAC address, so second hand ones will not work.

If you wanted to purchase your own you should have gone with thirdy party universal extenders.

  • Thanks Carl, do you know if Virgin can a MAC address retrospectively to get the hub and pod connected?

Sorry you'd have to ask them.

Technically the pods are rented kit so they'd probably want them back.

No they will never do that...more likely they will trace the MAC address to the person it is associated to and then chase them up with a charge for them selling VM's property and non-return !

Get a refund from the seller - they know they shouldnt have sold it,

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Hi @Ckbs

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

This is correct what you've been advised above about the 2nd hand Pod.

I'll send you a PM though to help with an order of your own Pod.
